Just to continue from TheEdge's "Age Survey", I am curious to know what job the members here are. If u are a working adult, which's your job? If u are a student, what's your area of study? Of course, if u don't wish to disclose, it's perfectly ok, I'm sure we all understanding. We just want to have some fun to see how "diverse" background sci-fi fans could be ...  Ok, for a start, I am working as an Accountant ... a dry and boring job of a "bean counter", hehe. ;D |

I'm in Internal Audit - deemed as the internal controls specialists in a Corporate entity, Public Listed companies in my case. ;D

Much like Orchidas, I am a freelance designer & illustrator, but I tend to gravitate towards illustrations more than designing.

Jobless rite now but here and there I becoma an Exhibition Showhost or School Competition Team Coordinator or Pamplet distributor/promotioner at the local Science Centre.  My real job seems to be Costumer and Forum Member.  |

I have a diploma in Technical Illustration & Spatial design (Spatial Design is a mix of interior design, commercial design and industrial design) but never worked a day as a designer. Instead I started my working life in a discotheque as a DJ, using my design skills to help decorate the place for promotions and functions instead, and eventually worked my way to the position of Club manager.
After that I Went to KL and worked in the Event Management Indistry. Ventured into PR and advertising and was under contract with a world brand cigarette company for a few years to run their nationwide promotional roadshow.
I also spent a couple of years in the product development department of a global manufacturing company during the economic downturn in the late 90s, and later joined a sports marketing consultancy firm and was involved with a few awesome sporting and entertainment events.
Now I'm 'semi-retired' and run a stall selling only drinks in my former highschool back in my hometown.
