Hi, I'm new, just manage to log in yesterday. Have been a star wars fan since the first starwars film "A new hope". Long time ago when I'm still a kid, I still remember persuading my father to buy me the TIE fighter toy and refused to move from the spot unless he buys it for me, but he just pulled me away. Another WARM welcome to MySciFiFan again by The SITH OverLORD.
Very happy to hear that you have successfully logged into MySciFiFan forums for once and for all. You have now taken your step into a larger world, to take a line off O' Ben Kenobi in SW Ep IV : ANH. ;D
It is good to know that you are one of the RARE few (yours truly included ) to have been a STAR WARS fan since the release of SW Ep IV : A NEW HOPE in 1977 / 1978 depending which part of planet Earth you were in at that time! Very sorry to hear that your father did not get you that 1978 Vintage Kenner STAR WARS Boxed TIE Fighter. I sure knew how it felt as I was a young kiddo salivating over that X-Wing Fighter when it appeared on the Toy Dept shelves more than a quarter of a century ago. Haha that was in the past as I have now acquired most of all the TIE Fighters and X-Wing Fighters in their original boxed condition; those that were released by Kenner Toys from 1978-1985. So you are in interested in STAR WARS costumes and props too eh? Again you have ARRIVED at the RIGHT and HAPPENING place as MySciFiFan does PROMOTE STAR WARS Costuming and Props in the local Sci-Fi Community. So don't be shy to ELABORATE some more on your interests the next time you log in, OK?

Hi, I think there are many people everywhere who has seen the movie and likes starwars since ANH. You must be one of those too? I was in Penang. Its okay, now I can buy what I want. ;D Wow, you sure know a lot about toys must be a serious collector. I think at that time X wing and TIE fighter are among the most popular space ship around beside the millenium falcon. Sure, I'll probably do so later in the forum on costumes, props and replicas

Hi, I think there are many people everywhere who has seen the movie and likes starwars since ANH. You must be one of those too? I was in Penang. Yess I sure did JadenLee. I watched SW Ep IV or simply known as STAR WARS back then in Cathay, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur way, way back in early August 1978. ;D I'm sure you do now, JadenLee, I'm sure you do.
...*ahem* Plo Strax Avix has done me the HONORS by introducing me as MySciFiFan forum's Vintage STAR WARS Collectibles resident specialist and expert. For starters here's a pic of my 1979 VINTAGE STAR WARS Boxed "IMPERIAL TIE FIGHTER", 2nd release version :
a Vintage STAR WARS Playset that was NEVER SOLD in Malaysia at that time, the 1978 "DEATH STAR SPACE STATION PLAYSET" from my collection (actually my 2nd )
and last but not least, my KENNER Original 1977 STAR WARS EARLY BIRD CERTIFICATE PACKAGE (was also NEVER available in Malaysia) that STARTED OFF the Star Wars Mini Action Figure phenomenon in the late 1970's that lasted till the mid 1980's :
