YAAY! More Msian Code 3 collectors!
VARTHDADER - Slave I is incredible actually. Especially if you display it in flight mode.
I bought all my Code 3 ships directly from them. Code 3 ships to Msia and they allow their customers to pay in 5 month installments. That's why I like to buy directly from them. Not many local toy stores carry this and they sell at inflated prices (Diamond Comics, I'm looking at you).
Cheaper as well to buy directly from Code 3. My Millenium Falcon was only RM1200 (including shipping).
The A New Hope style A 3D posters have started shipping, so if you want to buy them locally, they should be here by the end of the month at the latest.

Nope, not a fan of Slave 1, so im happy with both my FAlcon and X-Wing. As for DiamondComics, i had a spat with them, even called them "crazy bastard!" as i walked out of their store, the guy who was manning the counter is so damn aloof, thinking that i dont the dough to splurge on a Code 3 item. I'd half a mid to carry the two Code 3 models i have and scream "Look here you idiot, i got these at 1/3 of your bloated price, who wants your unit now, idiot!?" Notice that they also place an auction in Ebay Malaysia at the whopping price of RM8900 for all three. Cekik darah! The posters, i can do without. Got into a few detailed snapshots of them, and frankly, they are not as detailed and authentic as i want them to be. The starburst on the ANH poster for example, the prototype unit has them in transparent material, but the shipped ones had them painted white!? WTF! Now, instead of these 3D posters, im looking at this one:- Measuring at 40" x 27", and comes in limited edition of 3000 only worldwide. But the damn shipping itself is more expensive than the painting!!!Arrggghh!!!

Tried ordering that poster from SWshop.com but for some reason they dont ship to Msia Wonder if AllPosters.com have it in stock.
My 3D posters haven't shipped yet so no comment. Although the people at Code 3 forum boards have mentioned the white starburst. I still like the idea of a 3D poster, so I dont think I'll regret this purchase. Just wished the size was bigger.

Yeah, I shopped from them before but when I ordered the CIII poster in May, it was cancelled without any explanation. Thinking back, I think it's because of my outstanding credit card bill hehehe.......
Will try getting the poster again from them. It stinks that the shipping is double the price of the poster (FedEx shipping charges plus additional surcharge for intl. customers?? WTH?)

As for the price, Millenium Falcon was obtained from Shioktoys for RM1500, while the X-Wing was obtained from an online retailer for RM1800 I was lucky and bought my MF from a local collector for RM850, including the acrylic case. The X-Wing I won from ebay.com for US$246(I think. No acrylic case), plus US$50 or so for shipping (surface mail. Took more then 5 months to arrive!), which made it around RM1200...

I'm excited! USD$29.95 shipping??? Must be a very small Tie Fighter...No way it'd only cost USD$29.95 for shipping if to scale with the X-Wing...

No, Code 3 has changed to cheaper, slower shipping since the Republic Gunship. Their ships used to take 2 weeks to reach me but since they used cheaper shipping, it now takes 1 month. Some people had to wait 2 months for their ATST recently
The cheaper shipping cost reflects the time it takes to reach intl. cutomers not the size of the ship.
EDIT: I've just double checked at Code 3's site and it is indeed to scale with the X-Wing. Both ships have the same scale at 1:38.

ok, the Code 3 Vader TIE fighter can be seen Here: www.galactichunter.com/absoluteig/gallery.asp?categoryid=3640
Looks a bit pale in my opinion. I hope this is the prototype and not the finished product. The solar panels on the wings should be black/grey right?
Its a good move for Code 3 to change to a cheaper, slower mode of shipping. I don't mind waiting longer as long as its cheaper and still arrives safely. I waited over 5 months for my X-Wing so 1 or 2 months is well within my accepted tolerance level ;D
