Yes, that is the prototype. With the release in January of next year, they don't need to rush production. Show us the rough sculpt first, then go back and do the real work

That's because the Code 3 MF had a high production number and when it came out Code 3 wasn't famous yet. That's why they have a lot left in their warehouse.
But now, Code 3 ships have a lower production number and they're quite well known. They have no problem selling out their ships now. That's why I prefer to order now and order direct from Code 3 themselves

I HAVE YOU NOW
Vader's personal fighter, the Tie Advanced from Code 3 finally landed outside my door this morning. Edition number 239/5000. Nice! The Signature edition will be shipping in April.
Yes, that's Vader in the cockpit but he's non-removable.
Is the access hatch correct? In the STAR WARS CROSS SECTION book, the glass viewports is facing the rear not the front. Oh well. Since the hatch can be taken out, I'll try turning it around later.

Very cool! Too bad Vader can't be taken out.
This seems to be the largest scale vehicle Code 3 had made so far, but I don't suppose it's scale is anywhere near that of the 3.75" figures right?

Received Vader's TIE (Signature Edition) from Code 3 today. Number 004/500. James Earl Jones' signature, Death Star diorama base and damaged wing. Makes a nice companion piece to the regular version which I received in February.
