im also wondering how im gona put in the thick white stitch marks into the catsuit without tearing the material... i understand that its quite delicate.... CLUE: There is no tear...... My friend was also happy to hear that tho' it brought forth another problem. Just do this version: ;D Ugh! I still prefer THE Catwoman from Batman.

im also wondering how im gona put in the thick white stitch marks into the catsuit without tearing the material... i understand that its quite delicate.... I see two ways to achieve the stitched effect without worrying about tearing.
One is to line the underside where the stitches go with thick canvas-like material, and then stitch away. This will give your costume a more authentic look.
The other is to make it purely cosmetic and draw the stitches on with some kind of white fabric pen that leaves a slightly embossed finish. You'd need to first draw a black line to simulate the 'cut seam' before going over that line with white fabric pen to simulate the stitches.
Hope that helps.

On the stunt suit, the ripped/stitched areas were separate molded rubber pieces. www.stevedietgoedde.com/bloggy/2008/05/catwoman.htmlHere are some pics of the costume for reference: The cowl is a urethane mask. The stunt costume's claws are made with flexible urethane coated with graphite powder

thx for the pics my biggest problem now is getting the corset and boots. the boots cost about rm470 onwards and i may not end up buying them just yet.... may end up using the very same ones i used for the hellboy competition which are NOT laced up..... ugh i just hope it doesnt look that bad after having to compromise....

Best not to compromise on the boots, as that's always a very important part of a costume.
In this case, it is almost a defining feature of the costume.
I've seen too many otherwise nicely made costume totally ruined by a pair of 'compromised' boots.
