I do think Michael Chiklis will do justice as The Thing/ Ben Grimm.Watched his series The Shield, his role as Detective Vic Mackey really packs a wallop.
I dont understand why the producers are commiting suicide when they cast Affleck as DD. Elektra really bomb! I dont know if Bruce Willis can able to pull Sin City.
I do think Robert De Niro can play the perfect Wolverine and Clint Eastwood as Cable.

What's-his-name who played Hellboy would make a great 'Thing'![/b] I do think Robert De Niro can play the perfect Wolverine and Clint Eastwood as Cable. Robert De Niro as Wolverine: *sniff sniff* "Hmmm...the scent of a woman...". "YOU looking at ME? You looking AT me?" Clint Eastwood as Cable: "You feeling LUCKY today?"[/b]

well, i personally think Hugh Jackman did a wonderful job as Logan... altho if his voice was a little coarser, it would have been perfect (since in the comics, the guy have a real sarcastic edge!) Now, i find it quite hard to think of anybody who could do better than him...
er... just out of curiosity, who is going to be FF 1st nemesis? Dr Doom?

Hey, back ON-topic!
The movie is coming out soon. Seen the latest (and final) trailer. Looks awesome and good interpretation of the comic.
What I wasn't too clear about is Dr. Doom. Seems he kena cosmic rays too, though I think that wasn't the case in the comics. But so if he did kena cosmic rays I can't tell from the trailer what his powers are other than some enhance strength ("I want a 2nd opinion"). In the comics, Doom has super-powered armour, vast intellect, an entire nation's resources (Latveria) and mystical powers. One of my favourite baddies.

What fish said. The movie'll tinker too much with Dr Doom's origin, so much so that imho we'll end up with a watered down version of the great megalomaniac. A great fan of Jessica Alba though..she can do no wrong..
