Yep, like a temporary short break from collecting Vintage SW. Mine was back in 1992 to 1993 when I needed the funds for my tertiary education. Good thing I didn't miss much then. ;D

Yep! Just curious, but where did you buy most of your Vintage SW figures & vehicles from back in the day? Did you get started back in 1978?

Had a collection of roughly 25 vintage actions figs and 5 mini-rigs as a teenie(completely sold off in the 80's): Mini-Rigs CAP-2, INT-4, MTV-7, MLC-3, Radar Laser Cannon, X-Wing Pilot, Rebel commando, Snowtrooper, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, General Veers, TIE Pilot, Luke(Jedi Knight), AT-AT driver & commander, Rebel Hoth soldier & commander, General Madine, Death Star Commander, Cloud Car Pilot, Boba, Royal Guard, C-3PO, Bespin Security...
Then when I went to Germany for assignment, I bought 2nd hand as follows(all 3 3/4 scale): snowspeeder, AT-ST walker, ROTJ speeder bike, TIE Fighter (not sure which type oledi, whether Vader's/normal or bomber...) and paid all in all about DM100.00 (that time about RM170?) for it...
Now here's the bummer: I had too many things to bring back and I thought I'd probably come back again (that time I traveled more often for on company assignements) so I just chucked them in a box in a cellar/basement of the house I stayed in previously. I NEVER CAM BACK and never arranged for someone to bring/send back for me!!!!! AAArrrrrrghhh.... (feeling the wrath of all Jedi's and Sith Lord's force against my throat...).........

Oh, some more things I recall having during my 25 action figs: - Four (if I'm not wrong) off-white "standing platforms"(not sure the official description), where some figs could be "stuck" on each platform. Each fig had a "hole" on at least one foot which could be stuck on the little "pins" on the platform so that it's standing on it. Plus you could slot-in (I think three) background cards (actually, quite nice!) on the rim of each platform so to create a background drop (something like the photo studios do, except it's miniature scale). Aya, so hard to describe, I'll try to find web pix and post it here. ;D
What else I had... *puts thinking cap on...*
