Guess what I found?

I was rummaging through the Little Penang Street Market's secondhand books section last Sunday when I came across two interesting titles...


This one was printed in 1977, exactly 30 years ago...


While this one was printed in 1983, during the launch of ROTJ...

Both books are not in mint condition, but it was like finding the Holy Grail for me! I'd say that these two books are the first of my official Star Wars collection! ;D Some fan, huh? Intending to become an Imperial Royal Guard, but had only begun to collect SW stuff...

Great find! I had a copy of the exact ROTJ novelizations many many moons ago... don't know where it is now, though.

The challenge is my dear RedRoyalGuard is to locate the TESB novelization with Color Photo Stills on the novel.

Does the STAR WARS : A NEW HOPE novel of yours come together with Color Photo Stills? The exact same copy which I acquired back in AUGUST 1983 does not have these color pics.

Great find! Although I do not collect vintage items or novels/books it is indeed exciting to come across stuff like this in places you least expect to!

Apparently, milord, BOTH titles still HAVE the colour plates!

Nice find! I unfortunately don't have any original SW books, but I have a pile of about 20 books from around 2001-04. You should be pretty proud, that's an awesome find!

How about searching the Old Bookshops and the Flea Markets or even Garage Sales in your home state, you might get lucky you know.
