The reason why I am asking is b'cos today I saw a few stalls at Pasar Malam selling the SW Monopoly set at S$12 only (abt RM25 only) ... original packaging and shrink-wrapped too!

The player tokens, house & hotels are plastic instead of pewter, and the papers for money, title deed and chance cards are poorer quality than the original Monopoly set. Other than that, the rest of the packaging and game board are identical. Worth buying if u just buying it to play, except it has no collector value.

Would any of the recently released board games go up in value? I think maybe the video board game would because it's got exclusively filmed footage.
