Looking for a particular part for that custom saber? Want to know what part was used for a particular section of a lightsaber? Found an interesting part that can be used to make a lightsaber? Found a rare part used to make an existing lightsaber? Post it here. Pics please!
(Note: Do your research before posting. Don't ask about parts for sabers unless you know the history of that particular saber, in particular Prequel sabers, as most Prequel sabers were custom made or machined, so no existing parts were used)

Looks like I'll have to start the ball rolling again. well also since I've just received my original Armitage Shanks Handwheel aka Obi Wan Kenobi's ANH lightsaber pommel. For reference, here's a pic of a fan made Obi Wan ANH saber, courtesy of www.kurtyboy.pwp.blueyonder.co.ukAnd here's my brand spanking new Armitage Shanks Handwheel, complete with the Armitage Shanks logo: Now I'm one stap closer to making my very own Obi Wan ANH saber

Hmmm....does the Armitage Shanks Handwheel cost a lot? I need one for the bottom of my Forcepike but money seems a little tight back then and rite now. About RM100 including shipping. Yes quite overpriced considering it's a piece of plastic, and probably cost no more then RM10 when it was still being manufactured, but that's what happens when something is no longer available in stores, especialy if its associated with Star Wars
If you want I can try to get one for you....I won mine on ebay

Hmmm...will consider as my Forcepike need a LOT of redoing rite now ( it just follows Azeem's first tutorial on it tho' mine lack the AS Handwheel at the bottom) Would yuou by chance be going for the SW Ep III ROTS premier as an Emperor's Royal Guard with your custom made Force Pike? Heehee, I live in Singapore but anyhow, maybe here at some minor premiere or just lend it to someone in my group who is of my height or slightly taller for major ones. I need to redo a lot of things anyway but the problem of matching the Fire Engine Red Krylon Paint with a real velvet here is getting in the way.

Haldir, I just found a cheaper source for the AS Handwheel. I can get it for RM60, and will sell it to you at cost, plus actual postage. I'm not making a single cent out of this, just wanna help a fellow prop maker.
Let me know if you're interested. Hurry because they won't be available for long, other collectors are eyeing them as well.
