So anyone here a member of The 501st or Rebel Legion, or planning to apply soon? We Asians who actually live in Asia seems to be under represented there, especially at The Rebel Legion. Just curious.

Well, I would very much like to have a rebel costume, as they're the coolest ones, but a decent Stormy suit cost over RM4,000, and a really good Vader costume can run into 10s of thousands of Ringgit...
Plus there're currently no 501st Legion in Malaysia.

Plus there're currently no 501st Legion in Malaysia. You can form it whenever ready. Well, the last time I spoke with someone from 501st a few years ago, as long as there is 1 member with a fully complete Imperial/Bounty Hunter member registered with the 501st, you can form an Outpost. Maybe with the new rules etc, they had changed it to at least 5 members or something. Rebel Legion wise, it's harder to form a proper outpost as most people who did Jedi or the other good guys seems to do it as a one-time affair kinda thing. I'll love to form one here ( and we can even combine Outpost if there is a need) BUT the other Jedis in my group are below 18 while those above seems to be pretty busy with RL.

Haldir, what exactly is the AGE range of your costumed Star Wars-LOTR group? Mostly teenagers and college students? Are there any working adults who are members as well?

Maybe with the new rules etc, they had changed it to at least 5 members or something. Well, we currently have one Palpatin, one Darth vader and (maybe) a Tie Fighter Pilot. After the EP3 Premier on May 19th we'll definitely have more Imperial enforcement. Again, after the May 19th EP3 Premier we'll definitely have quite a few Jedis around as a few of us are quite committed in getting our own Jedi costumes made, and most of us are waaay past 18 ;D
So how do we go about registering this legion? Where is their HQ?
