I'm sure most people have watched the movie by now. If you haven't, go watch!
This thread is not about the movie. Instead, its about what the actors and stunt people went through to be in the movie.
This is about the training they went through at Gym Jones, dubbed 'Fight Club for fitness'.
For a little taste, here's the circuit that they do to measure performance (to be completed in 20 minutes):
25x Pull-up + 50x Deadlift @ 135# + 50x Push-up + 50x Box Jump @ 24” box + 50x Floor Wiper @ 135# (one-count) + 50x KB Clean and Press @ 36# (KB must touch floor between reps) + 25x Pull-up 300 reps total
For those unfamiliar with the terminology, click on the workout name to see a video. I'm sure everyone know what's push up and pull up right...
Couldn't find a video for 50x Floor Wiper @ 135# so here's an explaination of it:
"A floor wiper is where you lay with your back on the ground with your legs fully extended. You bench press 135 lbs, and hold it straight above you, with your arms extended. You then, keeping your legs straight, bring your legs up and touch one of the plates on the bar, and bring them back down, then bring them up and touch the other plate. That's 1 rep. "
And here's a Youtube video of the actors working out in Gym Jones.

Scared yet?
Anybody wanna try? ;D
