Redroyalguard, your IRG look okay for now. It's very interesting how your Helmet turned out for something hand-made. Good job and can't wait to see even more improvement to your IRG. Imagine, just throwing on a red robe over blue jeans and wearing red PCK boots. Yeah I did throw a Red Felt Cape over a pair of blue jeans and wearing red spray painted PCK Boots in 2005 troopings. Do you have a problem with that? Hmmm.....the last time I wore my IRG to take photo beside the original, I was just wearing my Working Clothes ( Jeans, Red Long Sleeves T-Shirt) with the Maroon Satin Gloves and Black Combat Boots. ;D Of course, I also took the wrong Cloak to work as I forget my Helmet had been repainted to Bright Red which will better match my 1st Cloak. Aaaaa....miss wearing my CE-ROTJ Hybrid IRG Costume, especially that it was my first "accurate" SW Costume but no IRG or even thots of redoing it ( I want to do ROTJ, AOTC, ROTS & CE Versions each) till I get a new helmet.

My gratitudes, milord Haldir of Lorien... I'm also looking forward to making all the above versions, plus a few custom ones, too! I just hope I can refine my techniques and make better helmets... ;D
The SITH_OverLORD told me about RG helms with faceplates that could be lifted up... (he said that it was a joke about the Emperor wanting to take a bath, and the RGs just couldn't stand the "aroma"!) It's no joke that this type of helmet may be possible, if not more convenient...

That happened on the cover of the Comic by Dark Horse, The Return of Tag & Bink - Special Edition #1 I got the Tradepaper Bag and it was hilarious. ;D

Well, if you really must know, Jedi Master, it's the helmet that I've worn during the Bangsar trooping! Just came up with the tutorial because I didn't have the time before! ;D[/b]

It would be great if you could post some picture of the process later when you have free time. ;D

Owh... That's what you meant? It was the brown paper tape, the one that you need to put water on to make it stick, like stamps. Yeah, I'm in the process of getting the tutorial together and you'll see how the tape gets there. Thanks, Jadenlee! ;D

Uh Oh in that case you CAN'T get your helmet WET lest it falls apart? ;D On contraire, milord, once the adhesive has been applied, water has no effect on it, unless you submerge the lid a bucket! Besides, the outer layer has several coatings of paint and epoxy to make it waterproof.
On the inside, I have also applied a layer of acrylic undercoat and spray paint. The helmet will hold together, unless someone takes it for a scuba dive! ;D
