The MySciFiFan Outpost will be hosting the next Toy Exchange this coming Sunday 15 April 2007, 12pm to 2pm. Bring collectible toys, memorabilia, models, comics, etc. for exchange or sale to fellow collectors. No charges, just keep your goods with the designated area. Just e-mail bazaar@outpost.com.my in advance with your name, contact no. and list of proposed items for exchange by Friday 13 April 2007, 11.59pm.
Please note that the Outpost will be closed this Tuesday 10 April 2007 for upgrading works. The Outpost will re-open as per normal on Wednesday 11 April 2007, 12.00pm noon.

25 April 2007The Outpost will be hosting activities this Saturday, 28 April 2007 for miniature modellers and wargamers. First up is a 3D Miniature Painting Workshop from 12pm noon to 2pm suitable for all ages from novices to modellers with limited experience. The 2-hour workshop includes an instructor for painting techniques, paint set, 1 miniature to paint (choose from selection available) and brunch for a fee of RM139/-. Topics covered include: a) Painter's tools. b) Spruce detachment & figure assembly. c) Undercoating. d) Base coating. e) Highlighting. f) Detailing. g) Base terrain & diorama. Workshop registration begins at 11.30am together with brunch. Please pre-register ASAP by e-mailing comm@outpost.com.my your name and contact number, or calling 03-77100562 (12pm to 10pm daily), before 6pm on Friday 27 April 2007 to secure your place. 27 June 2007Come this Thursday, our world will be Transformed! The Transformers live-action movie opens 28.06.07 at cinemas nationwide (not 04.07.07). Fans can catch the "Making of Transformers" at the MySciFiFan Outpost, screening every night from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. In conjunction with the movie, the Outpost galleries have been transformed to display Transformers collectibles dating back to Generation 1 toys and comics from the 1980's. Vintage collectible toys generally not for sale unless priced but visitors are most welcome to take photos. New collectible toys from the movie as well as recent comics are available for sale. Purchase at least RM100/- and receive a limited edition Transformers movie t-shirt from Cineleisure Damansara.
