I think I'll go with making my own mask,as it's cheaper. Wont know if the eBay mask will even fit me.
The change from frayed to non frayed was to make the job of rendering the cape in 3d easier. And it also makes it easier to make in real life, heheh.

Cool... never really had an exotic EU Sith character (in my understanding) here in our local 501st Legion before.
I'm just wondering... I didn't see any eyes or eyeholes in that white mask... so how exactly does the costumer see around? Smoked lenses?

Umm,from what I've read, they use a black opaque see through cloth that goes over their face.

Hey guys, Thanks to Red Royal Guard & Sith overlord, :oI didn't realize that flagship eclipse website has got so many resources for costumes of KOTOR characters. Being a big KOTOR fan myself, I might consider doing one of the costume later when I've finished my Jedi cape, provided I could find and assemble all the parts . Arrgh.... the dark side is really strong and hard to resist.

In addition to the Darth Nihilus mask from KOTOR II, this talented props maker also made the first KOTOR version with "horns" on both sides of the mask :
Front View of Darth Nihilus mask with "horns"
Close Up View of Darth Nihilus mask - forehead
This picture will serve as a good reference for you to sculpt the metallic Forehead Ornament on theDarth Nihilus mask.
Side View of Darth Nihilus mask
This will give you a clearer idea on how to sculpt the Forehead, Brow, Cheek and the texture of the surface of the Darth Nihilus mask

Much thanks Thesithoverlord! I'll start scouting around sports shops for the hockey mask. You're welcome nihilusgs. Yes, please start your shopping for the Hockey Mask as the BASE item to start off your Darth Nihilus mask making project. The sooner you procured the Hockey Mask, the sooner your Darth Nihilus costume construction project commences.
Please do POST pictures of the Hockey Mask after you have purchased one for your Darth Nihilus project and share with us here on how it LOOKS like. ;D
