LIFE SIZED Tatooine DEWBACK LIZARD!! :O

I really have to post this thread that features this AWESOME LIFE SIZED STAR WARS Sculpt of the DEWBACK LIZARD, rode by the Sandtroopers in Tatooine.



It is made by Julian's 501st Japanese bro TC-5699 Goro Inoue :

Starting mid April, I've been putting all my efforts into HER for Celebration Japan.
I'm sorry, this was why I was slow in replying emails. Wink

She is approximately 4.5 meters long, 2.5 meters wide (including the base), 1.8 meters high and weigh about 400 kilograms.
Full fiberglass body with metal framework and base so people can even sit on the back and take photos. I used more than 2200 lbs. (1 ton) of clay just to sculpt her. Laughing

Unfortunately I did not like Special Edition CGI version...
So I decided to do a hybrid version of an original ANH head and Gentle Giant body. As far as I know, in ANH the body was just a crappy rhino body...

All I can say is...WOW!

Got a local sculptor to make a Dewback to scale with my 12" Sandtrooper some years back but the result was less them impressive...

Now if only I can TRADE this pink midget"Jerba" that I located at Ipoh Parade (nyeah, nyeah I wasn't able to locate any Dewback Lizards over there .....)
