What do you guys think? ;D Would this have improved the story or the quality of the Story would have remained the same anyway?

I think it'd still be the same. If its not Jar Jar Binks then it'd be another just as ediotic characterm unless the whole story is rewritten to change the whole 'opressed-less-advance-species-rising-against-the-Empire' concept. basically it was the same scenario as the Ewoks in ROTJ, the just replaced a very lovable and resourceful Ewok with an idiotic and fumbling Gungan.
I personaly felt Jar Jar gave the movie some relief from all the seriousness, a part C3PO had devoted himself to in the Original Trilogies.

everybody roots for the 'oppressed species beating up evil empire' scenario. its inspiring. aren't such inspirational stories of WW2 of the same kind ? but perhaps making that oppressed species look too cute or too bumbling doesn't help make the scenario any more credible.
but i think Jar Jar Binks did help with TPM sales. the kids loved him. and i recall during the height of the "kill jar jar" campaign and backlash, one young kid wrote in to some SW fan site and explained why he and his friends liked Jar Jar. for once, Jar Jar didn't look so bad after all.

Hmm... young kids actually like Jar Jar? Could it be then that adults watching ROTJ when it was first release hated Ewoks but those of us still young then loved Ewoks?

well i think there's always 2 sides to a story, 2 ends of a spectrum. i guess the same situation applies in this area. and frankly i don't want to find out what kids are doing to their Jar Jar figures because I can assume it is nothing pleasant. I'm a rather optimisitc and positive person, so i see Jar Jar in positive lights as well. ( please don't crucify me ). i for one, am an anti-anti-Jar-Jar. i very much againts any form of deep-rooted hatred and resentment towards any element within SW. dislike or disagreement with certain things is fine by me. i have my own opinions of SW as well. I can respect others who don't agree with me. but not to the point of hatred, okay ? I have no hatred towards anything SW, SW-related, Lucas's alteration, non-alteration or future plans of alteration of SW. yes, i don't even hate Lucas for making Greedo fire before Solo. sorry. i got all worked up. only SW can work me up that much.

Jar Jar, or anyone else, has no control over what anyone do to any toy that's sold in the open market after they bought it. I for one, am an anti-anti-Jar-Jar. i very much againts any form of deep-rooted hatred and resentment towards any element within SW. dislike or disagreement with certain things is fine by me. i have my own opinions of SW as well. Well said, I feel the same. I might not agree but I try not to judge. It'll only make me bitter and resentful and after all, its just make-believe. Reserve the resentment and haterd for the TRUE VILLANS in the REAL WORLD

Well after all that has been discussed in lenght by my dear fellow MySciFiFan fan forum members, here is a FACT that NONE of you can deny. With the introduction of this infamous Gungan in SW Episode I and his subsequent appearance in Star Wars Episode II : AOTC as *Senator* Jar Jar Binks of Naboo. Senator Binks was the Executive Instrument that got the Galactic Senate to bestow Emergency Powers to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the starting point of Palpatine's expansion of POWER that culminated in the Galactic Empire..... Full CREDIT I bestow upon Senator Jar Jar Binks. Muahahahahahahahahah... Darth Sidious ;D
