I was also at the premiere screening with Marcus.. I was lucky enough to win tickets from hitz.fm AND the RHB Roadshow in Midvalley Well what can I say... The film well and truly ROCKED!! It was everything I had been waiting for the past 3 years, and more!! Only the loss of audio at some critical parts spoiled the experience.. Strangely enough, my second viewing at 1 Utama on Thursday afternoon was plagued by the same problem... I don't have that many complaints... The action sequences were nothing short of jaw-dropping, and the dark tone was really cool too. Same problems with the acting, but if you walk in without any expectations as I did, then you'll surely enjoy it. I only wish there was more of Grievous (he's my favourite baddie) and I think he died a bit too quickly. Oh well, i guess you can't have everything.... I loved the music as well, notably: 1) Battle of the Heroes and the way it was introduced... Spine-Tingling!!!
2) The reappearance of Duel of the Fates during the Yoda/Emperor duel
3) The Track "Padme's Ruminations" (When Mace & Jedi Posse are on their way to arrest the Chancellor, and Anakin & Padme are looking out on the city)Favourite scenes (in no particular order): 1) The Obi-Wan/Grievous duel
2) The Final Duel(s)
3) Order 66 & The Jedi Purge
4) Pretty much most of the rest of the film!So guys, now that the saga is complete, what are your favourite episodes? My personal rankings: 1) The Empire Strikes Back
2) Revenge of the Sith
3) A New Hope
Tied 4th) The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Return of the Jedi -- ( I can't bear to place a SW movie at the bottom of any ranking!!)

Yay, now that I've finally seen ROTS (twice), I can read this thread!
Overall an entertaining movie, but didn't quite feel a whoopping ending over the last few scenes... more like an epilogue to setup EpIV which as required I suppose.
Agree with obiwankedah, those so-called Jedi Masters died way to easy. Mace Windu should have just confronted Palpatine himself; no one beats Mace in fair-fight lightsaber duel!
Didn't find the Yoda vs. Palpatine lightsaber duel any impressive. Yoda vs. Dooku was way better, maybe best still nostalgic that it's the first time Yoda was ever seen dueling. I would have thought Yoda to fight Palpatine to the death rather than just retreating... he didn't loose any limbs yet afterall (most maiming in any Star Wars movie I think).

the jedi masters all died so easily what a shame, after those years of training... LOL! You can pose this question to Unca Georgie Lucas. Even though us SITH win hands down in ROTS, I agree that at least Agen Kolar, Sassee Tim and Kit Fisto should have MORE FIGHT in them rather than falling easily to Palpatine's Sith Lightsaber. Jedi Master's don't fall that easily.....

IMO, Yoda gave up too easily after losing his grip and tumbling down to the floor of the Senate Chamber. A stark contrast when he was flying up and down a few seconds earlier in his L/Saber duel with this Evil Sith Master. Yoda would have acquitted himself better had he summoned the Force to propel himself up and continued duelling with Darth Sidious until one of them gets maimed permanently!

here is my opinion
1- the emperor was having advantage of higher ground (just like obiwan did on mustafar)
2 - yoda was getting really angry (you can see that in his eyes)
anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering
to prevent this, he backed out to fight another day

....to prevent this, he backed out to fight another day Thanks for your inputs, obiwankedah, but as we all know Yoda didn't return to fight another day till he became One with the Force in SW Episode VI....

Thanks for your inputs, obiwankedah, but as we all know Yoda didn't return to fight another day till he became One with the Force in SW Episode VI.... fight another day can be in many form not meaning literally to "fight" in this case, he taught luke the way of the force before he died.... Nothing more will I teach you today. Clear your mind of questions

Ok my take on why Yoda gave up so easily. I believe he was exhausted after deflecting all those platforms Sidious hurled at him and after fighting Sidious's Sith lightning. Also Sidious has reinforcement in the form of clone troopers; Yoda didn't.
A wise warrior knows when to retreat, unlike Anakin who due to his arrogance thought he's unbeatable.
