Well dunno if u guys have created this thread but since lots of premiere screening will start today, lets discuss about SWIII: ROTS. Write whatever you think for the movie....comments, condemns, plot & storylines, cheesy or unforgetable lines, tell us all. Me & Nina (ninseven9) have watched in media screening & tried very hard not to open our mouth wide. So Nina, get it started! p.s: hey guys, u should check nina's writing on 'Movie 2 Fashion, Fashion 2 Movie' in HYPe! magazine no:38. the articles on Amidala's fashion is simply superb!

I did it!!! I did it!!! I saw it before any of you guys did (except maybe the press guys lar ).... Muahahaha Nolar, just kidding... Well, what can I truly say about this Episode except that it truly lived up to its hype! I mean even now, the night after, I still can't believe that I watched it already. Everytime I try to think of one particular good thing about the movie, one memorable thing, thousands of images flood my minds eye. My emotions are so jumbled up now. I don't know whether to laugh, or cry, or jump, or anything because thats just it! Its too overwhelming. Its too much for anyone to take in at one seating ( not that I'm complaining or anything ;D) Hehe, well.... I can only say there were only three things that disappointed me a bit. One was Mace Windu's death, Count Dooku's death and the Jedi's death. They were all too short IMO. I understand that they had to move the story along but hey I wouldn't mind sitting there for 4 hours Well, thankfully I'll be seeing this again and again and again till I spew Ep3 out of my nose!

Yes ah? Hmm.... Didn't notice ler ;D Couldn't bring handphone inside so couldn't check the time (I don't wear a watch ) Hmm, yeah that disappointed me too. I mean you would have thought that Ki-Adi-Mundi who stood his own against unspeakable odds fighting General Grevious in The Clone Wars Mini-Series would have at least held on for much longer eh? But then again it probably would have stretched the show too long (?) Sigh, why did Mace have to go like that? I mean I was hoping for a more heroic way of him dying ( but then again it's not that bad lar... ) Well ObiWanKedah, maybe the extra 20minutes were in the credits ler? I mean they could've meant the *whole* thing meaning the opening till closing credits. Oh yeah, which hall were you in btw?

have to agree with u guys....almost everything is left short. not enough time for us to enjoy the moment or felt the impact. if those scene should be longer, it will turn out to be a memorable moments & stir up our emotion to be close with the characters. Was hoping more from Padme's funeral scene (Jar-Jar still alive!) & the Luke/Leia born scene have no impact to me. Jedi's death. These are skillful Jedi, cannot die simply like that. Still not enough umph in romantic scene. And Vader in the 'Noooo.......!' scene, what was that?!
But i couldnt ignore George Lucas effort & hardwork. Few remarkable scene:
1) Anakin/Padme stares each other from far with orange sunset lighting (Jedi Council window/Padme house window)
2) Yoda/Palpatine pod raise in the middle of the senate council room.
3) As Yoda fell, his robe drop gracefully into a pointy metal.
4) 'You are the chossen one' scene
What's yours favourite scene?

My Favourite's....
1) The opening battle scene! (freakin' awesome man!!!)
2) Any scene with a lightsaber ;D
3) The Grievous/Obi-Wan duel and chase scene
4) And of course, who could forget the "Battle of the Heroes"
Yeah I do agree that most of the scene's actually intended to bring out emotions didn't really do so, but hey.... I'm not complaining (That much anyway) As one former chosen one said, "Impressive, very impressive"

Caught the movie last night... Sith Overlord and Obiwankedah from the MySciFiFan forums were also in the crowd. The movie was awesome!!! The ending was a bit sad, but the lightsaber fights were out-of-this-world. Just a few complaints:
(a) the Trade Federation driods are getting more annoying and cartoony. Their voice coders must've shorted out since Episode II...
(b) Natalie Portman was woooden!!! She wasn't as good as she was in the first 2 movies. She looked like she was totally uncomfortable playing Padme. There's this one scene where she was brushing her hair at a balcony while Anakin was looking at her; Anakin said she's beautiful and she turns around with a smile so plastic it looked like she had a dose of Smylex, and we're supposed to think she's beautiful? God, Ani... you're blind! And also... in that scene, she called Ani "Hayden"... whassupwidat?
(c) I've always looked up to Mace Windu, but when Anakin sliced his hands off, he yelped like a doggy! Compare that to Count Dooku... sure, a look of panic showed on his face when Palpatine tells Anakin to kill him, but he remained composed throughout. What happened Mace?
(d) The timing between the Senate scene where Palpatine announced the formation of the Galactic Empire and the scene where Yoda and Obiwan infiltrated the Jedi temple seemed a bit off. Yoda and Obiwan referred to Palpatine as Emperor just as he made the announcement in the Senate that the Republic is now the Empire. How did they know so fast?
(e) Why wasn't Qui-Gon shown?! Why oh why!? He was supposed to appear to Yoda and tell Yoda the secrets of the Force. That would've been more dramatic than Yoda just telling Obiwan that he'd spoken to Qui-Gon. If I were Obiwan I'd say "errr... Master... he's been dead for more than 13 years... hello? Anybody home? Taken too many knocks during your fight with Palpy eh?" I'd say that too because I didn't see a crucial scene where Qui-Gon made contact!
(f) And finally.... NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I could smell the cheese a mile away!
(g) this is not a complaint but more of an observation. Why is it that before he was transformed by his Sith lightning, Palpatine spoke like an English gentlemen, but after he is scarred he spoke like a Transylvanian vampire?
Just thought I'd share them with you guys.

Just thought I'd share them with you guys. It was my pleasure to have caught up with you and your wife before and after the show last night. However, there was NO sign of this obiwankedah if you ask me, perhaps intercepted by a Sith Lord on his way to TGV, KLCC?
Actually I find Palpatine's voice transformation rather COOL as it matches his physical transformation. His "Translyanian Vampire" voice is truly befitting his hideous and scarred face or perhaps his TRUE visage of Darth Sidious revealed? It will certainly be out of place seeing a deformed Emperor Palpatine sounding like an eloquent English gentleman prior to his duel with Mace Windu.
