Space Marines squads board 'space hulk' vessels, trying to stay alive against hordes of aliens and achieve their missions. Photos below actually of Space Crusade, basic version of Space Hulk. Two squads of Marines board the 'space hulk'. Ultra Marines in blue, Blood Angels in red. Marines skirmish with a few aliens. Genestealer attacks the Ultra Marine commander. Marine casualties mount, leaving only the two Marine Commanders to face the alien Dreadnaught! If interested to participate in future gaming sessions post a note below and PM/e-mail me your contact details.

Fun game. That Warhammer 40K universe is an interesting one.
for Space Hulk, my complaint is that the probablility of a zero on those dice are so high. makes it difficult to hit anything. believe me, i know. i was the Blood Angels Space Marines in the game.

Yeah, now that you guys know what your marines should be doing, the odds are more favourable to fare better in future missions We'll get another session going sometime with 3 marine squads - the Imperial Fists didn't see action the last time! BTW, this thread topic has just been rename from Space Hulk to Space Crusade, as I did sight the actual Space Hulk game today so perhaps someday soon we'll have a new topic on that game as well. The board environment is much more a unknown played like that seen in Doom (refer other thread).

if anyone can't afford or find the Space Crusade games, maybe you could try this link. sulk.sourceforge.net/ a computer game version of the boardgame. open source too. government asking us go open source anyway, so why not games as well ?
