I bought an Xbox after years of saying I never would, I'd been a huge fan of PS2 and never thought I'd bother with the Big Black and Green Machine....now I love it. If my house was on fire, it's be the only thing I'd try to save. Any other opinions?

I don't think I'll ever buy one of these dedicated gaming machines (just heard yesterday a PS2 wrecked some undergrad students). What good games anyway? Other options? Multi-player PC games. Boardgames. RPGs. Comes with more social interaction.

Ah-ha. Xbox supports multiplayer to the nose. With it's built in 4 controller ability, me and 3 friends can play Battlefront till the cows come home, then with Xbox Live, frag people from across the globe.
