Did anyone tried SW Replublic Commando?
It is a FPP game and events in it starts after EP II and leads right to EP III just like the clone wars animated series.

that would be onions.
looks cool, fight droids, magna guards, yoda briefs etc. nice squad-based FPS.
next up, look out for the upcoming strategy game Empire at War. or if anyone has PS2, get Revenge of The Sith.

I think I've played practically every popular Star Wars PC game in existence. X-Wing, TIE Fighter, X-Wing: Alliance, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, KOTOR, KOTOR II, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, Republic Commando, Battlefront, even tried Galaxies but it was darned slow cos there are no local servers... only in America =(. For X-Wing, www.abandonia.com used to have it as a abandonware download, but I think it might have been banned cos of ESA. I got a copy before they banned it though... ^_^. I'm willing to pay more for ori, classic games... haha. Or if it's really worth it, like Half-Life 2 (I have that ori). Republic Commando was a great game, albeit a little short. If you like flight sims, TIE Fighter and X-Wing: Alliance were the best of the lot. X-Wing is great, but it was the first flight sim for the SW universe, and it shows. X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter is just... crap. Haha... no storyline, nothing except missions. Kinda like a simulator run that the SW novels keep talking about. Empire at War looks REALLY cool, as does Battlefront 2. Ooh, one last piece of advice for those looking to play old DOS-based games... there's a program called Dosbox on the web, open-source software. What it does is emulate a DOS shell in your Windows environment, complete with soundcard, mouse, and cdrom emulation. Do a Google on it to find it. I'm playing X-Wing on it right now... pity I don't have a joystick and have to stick to mouse flight... it's annoying. =(

it's my interest to one day have a group of fellow Rebel or Empire pilots to play those space flight sims with. I've been into space flight sims since Wing Commander 2. TIE Fighter is my favourite, X-Wing was too hard to pass the trainings, X-Wing Alliance i just never sat down to complete it. But i do have all of them. Or we could even just do quick lightsabers duels. I'm always game for a game. How about Rebellion multiplayer ? Or (gasp!) Force Commander ?!

Oh yeah! Forgot to mention those two really fun but don't make sense in terms of storyline games: REBEL ASSAULT I AND II! WOO HOO!!! hahaha..
I thought it was really cool when I first played it at the time (like 8 years ago) but now when I look at it it looks kinda cheesy... haha... Rookie One, anyone? ^_^

Me too... I've got to get a better joystick first though... mine's, um, quirky. Hehehe...
Also, you have TIE-Fighter still? Game for a... uhhh... resource-sharing experiment, as I don't have it? Hehehe... =)
