Well, the planet detected is a gas giant, so I guess the reference to Tatooine is loosely used. The artist's depiction is based on a hypothetical moon that circles the gas giant, much like Callisto or Ganymede around Jupiter. But fear not, just because astronomers haven't seen a terrestrial type planet in the HD 188753 system, doesn't neccesarily mean that it's not there. It would be great if they eventually discover it.

it gives us hope that galaxy far, far away may not be that far off. and that long time ago is now. but by the time they even find the binary sun planet Tatooine, we'll be long dead. alright people that have kids, etc, time for you to go to work.

Interesting...Well, roughly 149 light years sounds pretty far to me!! Especially without those hyperjumd ships or any Stargates, just based on our current level of technology! Our Transnasional bus drivers can probabaly reach it in 2 days. But the passengers will probably crap in their pants.

Ya you're probably right they can reach there in 2 days. But doubt anyone will survive...unless of course we have Transnasional (or should it be called "Transgalaktik") cryo chambers... and no speed traps in space ;D
