The date Star Wars: ANH was released in theaters in the USA.
But I don't get the movie with this date as its title...from the pics it look like a very bad try at making a sci-fi/horror movie...

Use the force. See who is the producer OK so Mr. Gary Kurz is the Producer and May 25th, 1977 is the first day that STAR WARS premiered on planet Earth, and there's a couple of silver headed aliens in it... so its a fan film of sorts or what?

From what i see & read abt the movie, it potrays something that close to ourself. Before MySciFiFan exist, before the prequel, before internet, while we grow up. We have the strongest enthusiasm on Star Wars (or Star Trek, or Battlestar Galactica & all) & we want to share the passion with everybody but they just couldnt accept it. Our brain is to unique & futuristic compared to the person who sat next to us. This movie remind me the point where your parents doesnt think a SW figurine is worth buying (which much² later worth thousand ringgit). The moment where ur frien find u weird at school for loving 70's sci-fi movie that much while saying 'Hey, it’s just a movie.' . The moment when ur family said Maul mask bring bad luck to enter the house. The moment when u wish u become a great film director like George (as what Peter Jackson & Ron Howard felt). The excitement while queueing for ESB & ROTJ tickets while others dont. The moment when u do an X-Wing out of cardboard. The moment u felt u r the only one person in Malaysia that love SW. FOR ME, that's the movie is all about. Not a coming-of-age geek story nor a cheap sci-fi/ fanfilm director wannabe story. The is a part Patrick Johnson inside everyone of us.

Ok now I'm beginning to get it...but how did you figure all that out Chakotay? Just from all the screen shots? I don't see a link for viewing the whole movie there...
Like every other person here passionate about SW, or other sci-fi/fantasy genre, I had to keep my passion bottled up for fear of being rediculed. Before MySciFiFan I can only talk to people half way across the world about my passion, and watched with envy as they talked about their events, going trooping, going for exhibitions/conventions etc...
And I was resigned to believe that I'm the only guy crazy enough to buy flashguns to make lightsabers in Malaysia. I didn't even dare to let people know I collect lightsabers, and certainly didn't dare to tell anyone how much I spent on the stuff I use to make my lightsabers.
Man we have come a loooong way... ;D
