Ezli,
I saw that trailer with my son before heading to bed and needless to say we both went to sleep happy.
How many 'tronians can we see? First is Blackout, the CH-53. Then we also see Scorponok bursting out of the desert sand. THen some shots of that truck that transforms into Optimus Prime. For a second we see Starscream in F-22 mode among skyscrapers, and Bumblebee's head putting on its battle mode armour.
Not sure who came out of the swimming pool with the My Little Pony girl. Might be Megatron.
Oh and Spike wearing a Strokes T-shirt. LOL.

Watching the trailer has made me excited about the movie. Waiting with much anticipation. *rubs hands gleefully*
I liked how the parts slowly whirled and click into place.

Yup, the one who came out of the swimming pool is Megatron. Carwash is expensive nowadays so that's the best solution. If you seen the early sketches, nobody can guess what Megatron gonna transform to be (some said blender coz of sharp edges...haha).

of course from the trailer it's a must watch movie. but having grown up with 80s G1 Transformers, I still can't get over the fact why they didn't model the robot form after the bulkier G1 types, and went instead of the slicker (and more 'naked' - in Threepio's words) form. Bumble-bee is a Mustang? gawd.

Well, they reckon that its much better to go with the current trend rather than the models when they started in the 80's. then the new movie would not look so old.
Still, with so many series (of toys), we must be used to the "changing" designs even though they bear the same name. But Bumblebee not being a beetle is like Stallone being Judge Dredd. Then again, making him as the latest VW bettle would have made him look like a pondan

So now all the vehicles are American made Chevrolet, GMC, Humvee and the likes. |

yeah, man. Bumblebee was always the most weedy Autobot, his only redemption being that he was so unthreatening that he was used as a scout to get past the enemy undetected. Also he was the lovable cuddly type that the human characters hung around with. Wuss.
