Right! Commendable movie it was. 2.5 hours long, more focus on story with a 'believable' premise on why Bruce Wayne was driven to become Batman. The famous supporting actors are a great bonus, though some of those roles could be easily filled by the less renown. Worth your ticket price! Especially compared to the last Batman effort.
Some parts by a somewhat slow-moving, so my attention was waning a bit through the 50-70% mark. Perhaps it was also getting late as the Preview session started at 9.30pm to end at midnight. As mentioned earlier, plot driven story rather than action driven.
The action scenes I found not particularly memorable. They look good as can be expected from most movies out nowadays, but there weren't any notable jaw-dropping scenes which I recalled. Again, more plot driven story.
Christian Bale does a good Bruce Wayne IMO. I really couldn't digest Michael (Beetlejuice) Keaton when the first Batman came out though most says he's the best of the first 4 movies. Do see sequel potential with Bale again.
Would I watch again? If I was a Batman fan, most certainly yes. But since I'm not, I'll probably wait till the DVD.
Spoiler free, eh?

Oh, and security was TIGHT as well. No handphones, cameras, PDAs, etc... hence movie started about 30min late... someone mentioned tighter security than American airports!
Pics, um I'm not one to look around for those so dunno where really to find them.

when i knew Joel Silver had nothing to do with this movie, I was jumping with joy. 'twas Joel Schumacher who directed Batman Forever & Batman & Robin ;D Joel Silver served as the executive producer for the Matrix Trilogy and will serve as the executive producer for the upcoming V for Vendetta, Logan's Run and Wonder Woman flicks respectively. Nothing to do with the Batman franchise

For all who want to start a new thread in the future, best to first find out if there're an existing thread for what you want to discuss. To do this, y simply click on the search button above, right below the MySciFiFan banner. At the bottom of the search page there's a field call 'Posted within the last:___days', enter 100 or more so that even if its an old thread, you can revive it and continue from there...
This way we won't have 2 or more identicle threads running in all directions... ;D
