You guys recall the He-Man Masters of the Universe series? Revive recently with a new animation series, comics and toys.
I got a few of the new comic series. But can't find it anymore. I think they changed publishers from Image to DDP. Anyone see the DDP comics around in shops here?

Is the new series as good as the original? I love the original one, including She-Ra but hated the serie that came after it when He-Man was sent to the future to help or something.

I only watched the first 2-3 episodes of the new series. Can't really find them here (not that I tried very hard to look). It's more contemporary with its characters which are less perfect than the original series, e.g. Prince Adam is somewhat immature and has issues with his parents. I read a few of the new series comics which were rather interesting but then cannot find them here anymore after a change of publishers (Image to DDP?).

ever wonder why its called Master of The Universe now instead of He-Man ? cos He-Man probably sounds too gay by today's standards. MoTU more macho.
anyone remember the movie then ? Skeletor looked rather cool in that one.

Ya, I remembered it and watch it a few times on TV many years ago. But at that time ( I was still a young teen), didn't fully like it due to it lack of accuracy to the cartoon but did find the general look of the armors, costumes and kinda storyline very interesting. Funny to say, my obsession with having a Misty-Grey/Whitish Iris came after watching that movie.

That was the one with Dolph Lundgren, Robert "Tom Paris" MacNeill and Courtney Cox, right? That was one.... weird movie. I also wondered why they were called "Masters of the Universe" those days when all they did was hang around Eternia.

Robert "Tom Paris" MacNeill and Courtney Cox What? Really that was THEM Might just look up the movie again to see these two before the days of Voyager and Friends...
