i wouldn't complain too much on the altered storyline. this a reimagination of the comic, not an adaptation.
as much as its a comic book movie, the writers had to inject some plausible elements to make it believable and acceptable (on some level). i wouldn't buy into them building a rocket just to get into space for the sake of getting into space. remember FF was a comic of the 60s, during that time which was the Cold War and the space race between the two major political powers then. that's so over now.
so to give the 'new' FF a reason to go into space is to study DNA and genetics in space, it's more plausible, IMHO.

Time to take everyone's attention on the ALTERED Story Line in the Fantastic Four movie and turn our attention on the babe of the day. She's NOT Jessica Alba a.k.a. Susan Storm, the Invisible Girl but the HOTTIE nurse who took Johnny Storm's temperature : Maria Menounos So is that a MR FX Lightsaber in your pocket, Overlord; or are you just happy to see Maria Menounos?? ;D ;D ;D

So is that a MR FX Lightsaber in your pocket, Overlord; or are you just happy to see Maria Menounos?? ;D ;D ;D That mate is the Master Replica DARTH SIDIOUS FX L/Saber that I carry in me pocket all the time!
*Ahem* as for your second question, that is for Maria Menounos and me to KNOW and for you to FIND OUT! ;D ;D
Oh BTW darqueside, I remembered you posting this reply in the Star Wars EpIII ROTS at Starlight Cinema, 1 July 2005 thread, " Quick query: Anybody know where I can get (& for approx. how much) the sorta like "semi-chairs" to be used @ the event? It may sound silly (coz I'm just hopeless with descriptions) but these chairs are ones without legs, so you won't really be obstructing the view of those behind you... not all of us would wanna watch these movies lying down, and sitting freely with your back unsupported is simply torturous
Mat... check... pillows.. check.. picnic basket..check.. mosquito repellent.. gotta get some!!!
...but don't ever recall seeing you there on 1st July 2005 or were you HIDING somewhere eh?

One can never hide from the Dark Side of the Force Wasn't there that night, had to give it a miss.. was there for Sepet & the Robots / Incredibles combo the week after.. weather wise it was okay, but the mosquitoes.. *sighs*.. irritating!! Getting back on track.. it seems that they've greenlighted the FF sequel... word is they want to adapt / re-imagine the Galactus storyline next.. imho, they shouldn't even attempt that one unless they've upped the fx budget considerably (and keep Tim Story away from the director's chair!) I'd settle for the Mole Man storyline.. or even Doom again, Doom Done Right!!

Agreed... Doom wasn't done justice. Didn't even have enough standard gloating time before *FWOOM*... ;D This screams a sequel... as with every other comic-book adaptation these days. Heh! When are they doing another Ninja Turtles??

They're already doing one..wahOoOo! ;D Taken from www.darkhorizons.com/news05/050718e.php, original source from www.variety.com The Weinstein Co. has pacted with Warner Bros. to distribute the first all-CGI-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reports Variety.
The as-yet-untitled pic, set for release in early 2007, would return the franchise to the big screen which it hasn't graced since the early 90's. It continues the "Turtles" revival that began three years ago with the bow of a new TV strip.

*Ewok celebrations* ;D ;D ;D TO-tally awesome, duuuude! About time too. I was such a Turtles fanatic. Heheh! Darth Tee: Well the famous metal mask got far too little (and unwisely-used) screen time for one if that was what your friend was referring to... as a flesh-faced villain he was not bad. Though the Green Goblin is still the best Marvel movie baddie by far IMHO. Aside from that it's a pretty nice watch for the action scenes and Jessica Alba. ;D

Any comment on that? Yes, recommended if you're a comic hero fan. I personally didn't like the reintepretation of Doom. The comic version is better... a classic...
