Well, this is Red's Mando armor discussion thread and as my project does not involve Mando armors, I felt no need to show my work in progress. But since you asked... Bear in mind this is still a work in progress. I'm still tweaking it to perfection.

Thanks, arek. I started in 2006 when I got my hands on the first component, an unfinished JB ESB helmet. It was cracked so I spent a lot of time repairing it and then painting it to a shiny finish. At first I thought I'd be happy with a helmet for display, but one thing about this hobby is that it'll keep you wanting more.
The whole display is built around David Prowse's actual measurements (I don't intend to wear it myself). I managed to get my hands on a poseable mannequin that's damn tall! I bought the remaining hard parts from all over the place. The undersuit and cape are from Lucas Alvarez and the cod is from ArtisanProps. I'm still not happy with the shin armors... the details are a bit too soft for my liking. I'm also looking to upgrade my chest box to something more accurate. Neverending, I tell you...

Azazel, many thanks for sharing your Darth Vader project with us and I have created this specific thread for you to share further at, "Azazel's Darth Vader costume project"
Let this thread remain for its original intended purposes.
