Star Wars costume contingent? I've gotta get something tailored then. Possibly a darker Jedi costume. Who wants to join me? Might negotiate better terms with tailor. LMK. I don't mind getting a Jedi robe and inner clothing if your tailor is up to it, have a few designs for reference too.... Is there enough interest here to organise a fully decked out costumed parade and gathering to watch the premier? If we have 10 to 20 dedicated fans with costumes then we can pull this off. SITHOverLORD is currently in talks with a sponsor to back this gathering but what we need is commitment and dedication once its a go. No last minute cold feet or pull outs due to ANY reason. Once you commit then that day you can not be distracted or sidelined by anything else. I'm take the lead and put my name on the list, provided I can get my costume in time. No I'm not using the costume as an excuse in case I can't make it, as those who know me and have met me know that when I say I'll do something, I do it! So lets see a show of hands.

Hi guys, Hope to find an event to tag along. NTV7 has one event, not sure if Celcom will do another grand screening. Hope CinemaOnline will organize an event for MySciFiFan members. Chakotay, one prominent corporate member that is involved here is RHB Bank!

Wa, the Google ads on this boards are quite 'smart'. We're discussing Star Wars Costuming so an ad for Star Wars costumes comes up: www.clicket.com/swgal/swgal.aspSuppose these costumes are not availble here, but seem rather cheap if don't convert currency. If RM59.99 great bargain. Check out the Clone Trooper costumes

Errrr...you are not seriously gonna wear Rubies SW Costumes? As a costumer, I know they are good for a one-time wear for Halloween or something, especially for kids but due to its lack of quality and accuracy, it's not worth the money for us older fans. Make as well assemble the costume from your wardrobe or local shops. Anyhow, wouldn't a person wearing the Rubies costume feel very inferior when standing beside another person who made/tailored the costume and look pretty accurate. I highly encourage everyone to make their own costume for ROTS Premiere or save like hell and get one tailored out by a reliable tailor/seamstress. We Asian should look as great as our AngMo conterparts at our local ROTS Premieres. Frankly, looking at the AOTC Premiere photos from Malaysia, I felt a little ashame cause there seems to be some great looking costumes and interesting variety over there compared to here.

Hello and welcome aboard HaldirIt is so nice to see a fellow Star Wars fan across the Causeway. I also do post frequently at the SgCollect.com Star Wars section under another handle = Vintage_GentleMan, perhaps we might have exchanged info ever there too? In response to your question whether we are using the *cheap* looking Rubies Star Wars helmet, I don't think so. I personally know most of the Malaysian Star Wars fans who post here and they are pretty much a passionate and adventurous bunch - where in this context they are gonna go in Full Force with proper custom made costumes of their choice of Star Wars character (like yours truly here ) True, we may not have a local Chapter of the Fighting 501st Stormtrooper Legion here in Malaysia as yet compared to Singapore (BTW are you a member of the S'pore 501st yourself?), but we compensate for this in other areas as we do touch base with the Ang Moh Star Wars fan in the various Star Wars Fan Site out there in the World Wide Web. Looking forward to exchange info with you more over here!

LOL! Then there is still hope for those who don't measure up to the average Stormie height of 5' 10" and above!
