i've named my pet turtle chewie, after chewbacca
and i think that luke and leia are really cool names for my children.. (lol, i'm only 15 and here i am thinking names for my baby boy and girl) anyway, i have to have my husband's approval before naming them of course, and if he doesn't accept it, i'll divorce him (joking)..
but anyway, my point is.. are you this obsessed with star wars till you'll name your offsprings after them?

i like astromechs. although i don't think i would name my son R4-G9.. Is that a new emoticon? Anyway, not quite keen on names in Star Wars though but i like all the cool Jedi names like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. Come to think of it... Maybe I could name my son Mace Windu. hehe ;D Only joking Oh... what's going on with me. I still have my studies to worry about and here I am thinking of a name for my offsprings (if I would to have any) hehe ;D

naming chewie for ur pet turtle is kinda wicked.
it shows your love of star wars.
there is something about "chewie" and turtles that is very opposite, hence making it a good name for a turtle.

I know a Malaysian Trekkie call Richard Si who did name his first born son Riker T. Si...however it's still a hugh-mon sounding name, unlike SW names...
If you choose to name you children Anakin, Luke, Leia, Han, Beru, Shmi, Owen, Ben, Bail, Padme or even Aayla, it shouldn't present much of a problem for the child.
But name him/her Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Watoo, Palpatin, Asajj, Luminara, Tarkin, Jar Jar, Vader, Dooku, Yoda, R2D2, C3PO or any other weird sounding name, then be prepared for your child to hate you for the rest of their lives... ;D
