Has anyone ordered this book yet? 16th July world-wide release! As soon as I get back my first action will be to pre-order that at MPH. I can't wait for the next instalment! Plus there's speculation that a major character is gonna be killed! I'm hoping it's Draco Malfoy but then again I doubt if the most OBVIOUS one is gonna die. Hope it's not someone like *ahem* again, just in case you haven't read Order of The Phoenix, don't want to spoil it for you. =) Can't wait!!!!

I'm getting the US Version so not pre-ordering. And strangely back when GoF came out, it went on sale the moment it hits the shelves at Border in the afternoon. Will be dressing up as a Slytherin Prefect on the Release day and attack Singapore's Major bookstores with my other HP friends.

Coming from a non-Harry Potter fan, then are the over 20 something fans all females?

Coming from a non-Harry Potter fan, then are the over 20 something fans all females? Not all... but a very very very large portion of us. ;D I got badgered into reading the books for years... and finally I gave up resisting and took the plunge. I don't regret it... though I have the preference for the later books because of their darker themes. I should be hitting MPH that day too. I didn't preorder this time though... the crowds weren't at all bad when I got OotP, so I guess I will just wade in happily and grab my adult copy. ;D

i started reading HP waaaaay before it got famous. back then, was getting bored with adult fiction. so i turned to kiddies books which nowadays, is turning out to be more fun to read that the usual politics/fighting power plays... i remember the hype only started when the movie was coming out. by then, book 3 was read by me... felt it had it's moments to progress... and JK hasn't let me down yet!
hehe, if you guys can spot me on the LRT, chances are you'll see me with a kiddie book in my hand! Jonathan Stroud, Eofin Colfer and now Angie Sage...

I'm no way above 20 but i loved harry potter since i was 11 or so....
But i have a very low income so I will be waiting for someone to finish theirs and i'll literally grab it from them...
So far it's all very nice but I do not see any excitement from another dead main character. I just hope that Harry won't be so super moody biting everyones head off....
I wish I had a costume tho...

So wait a minute, hey Rhyden, so you're saying, no need to pre-order? Okay! hahaha... must grab then. I guess it makes sense lar, once everyone has gotten their pre-ordered copy they all leave, and Malaysians aren't exactly the reading lot.... so once the fans are satisfied there SHOULD be at least SOME copies left... haha.
