Ah yes... dwarven magical powers! I'll just shake my hand axe and scowl menacingly at anyone who dares to come anywhere near me. hehehe.

Braving the crowd is one of the fun bit of the whole thing... the energy, the chaos... the sheer satisfaction of headbutting the stubborn 'goat' in front of you who DARE to get in your way and the Tome.

Or you could have large portions of food that is rich in garlic the nite before, drinks lotsa fizzy drinks first thing in the morning and when u get to the bookshop of choice to get the book, use the 'force' within you and let go a cloud of semi-lethal 'gas' to disperse the crowd as to clear your way to your tome.

Beans... *nods wisely* LOTS and lots of beans, petai, asparagus and garlic. Eat lots of them and you will stink so bad... you will make folks' eyes water and set off the fire alarms. Then ALL the HP books are yours since everyone will be running away desperately from you. They make even call in the bomb squad

Well, I donno if it'll happen again but for OotP, Kino and Borders over here in Singapore is still trying to sell off their extra stocks for around SGD10. But only for the British Kids and Adult version. I go for American Version pasal mata sikit blind so need bigger font. (Okay lah, seriously because the copies my sis gotten are the American Version and when GoF came out, it was SGD10 less than the British one and got Illustration etc and they varies the font to match the paragraphs of Letter, News etc etc)

Freespirit, why not look around for Black Cloths on Sale and then ask friends or relatives to make the school robe for you? Patch just ask someone with Photo/Color Printer to print out a picture of the patch, maybe Laminate it and use it on your Robe. ;D

I'm considering making School Robes with or without actual Patch to sell at ~SGD60-80 to help me afford my SW Armor earlier but having a little material problem rite now as the Cotton-Linen I used for mine is kinda Sold-Out at my usual hangout. And of course, I live in Singapore and not sure what kinda of length I should make the robe in as I'm short (5' plus so my School Robe is around 134cm long)

I have noticed.... I was starring at them in Borders with sheer disbelief. I hope the next book will have a phenomenal sales... but I am still being stubborn about not preordering and rushing into the bookstore that day. Almost feels like gambling. hehehe
