Didn't u know? The Sovereign Protectors ARE Force sensitive! ;D Sure. So sensitive they are that Yoda easily manhandled two of 'em in ROTS.

Those were technically "Red Robes", Senate Security... transitional Royal Guards, I understand, not Imperial Royal Guards and definitely not Sovereign Protectors! The true Royal Guards appeared in ROTJ, if I recall correctly. ;D[/color]

If I remember correctly, Sovereign Protectors came out after events in ROTS and they tend to be Force-Sensitive. Eg: Carnor Jax Haahaaa....seriously my IRG knowledge are getting rusty although I created this website www.angelfire.com/scifi/darthmaulgirl/sw_guards.htm

RedRoyalGuard here are the reference picture and photos (with you holding the helmets ) to help you in your final step to COMPLETE your Version 2 Royal Guard Helmet to MEET 501st Legion Standards.
The REAL Deal itself, STAR WARS Episode III Revenge Of The Sith Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet (plus costume and Force Pike). Source : Dressing The Galaxy.
Front View of the Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet Face Plate : Pol's Don Post Royal Guard Helmet and the existing face plate of your V2 RG Helmet. As discussed you need to add Bondo to smoothen and round up the ridges of your face plate to MATCH the Don Post Helmet.
Front Side View of the Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet Face Plate : Another comparison pic taken at this angle to highlight the areas that need Bondo application to smoothen and round up your V2 RG Helmet face plate ridges to MATCH the Don Post Helmet.
Top View of the Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet Dome : The Dome of Pol's Don Post Royal Guard Helmet (Left) and the dome of your V2 RG Helmet. As discussed you need to build up your Dome to make it higher with Bondo in order to MATCH the shape of the Don Post Helmet. Don't forget to round and smoothen your built up dome after that.
Right Side View of the Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet : Side views of Pol's Don Post Royal Guard Helmet (Left) and your V2 RG Helmet. Apart from the Ridges on the face plate, you will need to apply Bondo to smoothen and round up the Upper and Lower back ridges in order to MATCH the shape of the Don Post Helmet.
Left View of the Emperor's Royal Guard Helmet Back : Side & Back views of your V2 RG Helmet withPol's Don Post Royal Guard Helmet (Left). Please do likewise with the additional Bondo application to smoothen and round up the Upper and Lower back ridges on the Back and Left to get the shape that MATCHES the Don Post Helmet.
In closing you will really NEED to thoroughly REINFORCE the Helmet Plate that comes into contact with your chest. This is the most VULNERABLE area of the Royal Guard Helmet , speaking from experience from some one who has trooped wearing the Don Post Helmet a few times prior to and after the formation of the 501st MALAYSIA-BRUNEI OUTPOST.

Darn! That reminded me that I really need to buy my new helmet from Reno to redo my IRG. Missed it too much. I agree that you ought to consider about it when you have more spare funds in hand, taking into account your high levels of enthusiasm in the 501st Sovereign Protector's forum.
