Don't worry, you can go there and change. As for personal effects we always try to make arrangements to either store them in a secure place, or have minders to guard them.
But do try to incorporate pockets or pouches into your costume for handphone, a small wallet, and camera. Most of us do.

dunno if this tip helps or not, but... i used an nypd ammo-clip pouch to double as a jedi utility pouch. it's roomy enough to store a compact hp/digi cam. so u can also use one of those leather hp belt-pouches. it makes for a fairly convincing, and innocuous addition to the jedi utility belt. (of course, try to avoid those with a giant metallic nokia logo on it lah. kinda ruins the illusion)

But do try to incorporate pockets or pouches into your costume for handphone, a small wallet, and camera. Most of us do.
I know it's not Cannon but maybe can try incorporate a Lining into the Jedi Outer Robe. That way, you can sew as many pockets as you want on it. I did that for my Harry Potter Robes and the last time I did it, I not only have the customary pocket for my wand but also pockets for my pen and another for my cards/passport. Next one will probably have another pocket near the Chest area or beside the Wand Pocket for more Cards or money. Oh yes, a little warning if thinking of getting those Jedi Pouches from Pan-In-The-Box aka Costume Bay Singapore to complete your Jedi Garb. According to Lai Foong and Ong, it's probably some kind of Styrofoam hence being very light. So not recommanded to carry anything heavy inside like Handphone or Camera etc. And the belt measurement is off by fraction of an inche ( can't remember what is what as I only remember 1/4" and 1/8") and they sew on the details, instead of running it onto the Wet Leather or tool it on a dry one. Hai.....the only reason I gotten it cause it won it at a price lower than original on eBay. As for your Robe, if got patterns and cloths at hand, can finish it in a few days ( think I did one of my HP Robe in about 1 plus day straight; only delayed by me having to go to the shop to get the raw edges finished off and me sewing almost all sides after finish assembling the robe). The only problem I see for myself is getting the correct size for the Hood and maybe sleeves ( I use one of those McCall's Robe pattern lah so the Sleeves very Weird Shape, sharp and long) Yes we do, except for me. I rode my Bantha to Cineleisure in my FULL Tusken Raider gear! Hmmmm.....wonder if I should take my Mountain Bicycle or my Fell Beast ( TIE Fighter dah kena shot down lah so need alternative transport for this pilot!). ;D

Thanks Plo & Tylerdurden for your advice I think my Jedi pouches can fit in my handphone and other smaller stuff, if need be I can also put things in my pant's pockets. No worries

Thanks Haldir, maybe can try incorporate a Lining into the Jedi Outer Robe. That way, you can sew as many pockets as you want on it. I think its a good idea to have pockets for Harry Potter robes but my Jedi utility belt should suffice. My Jedi outer shirt has a lining, I am keeping it simple and not incorporating any pockets, otherwise it will take the tailor forever to finish. Oh yes, a little warning if thinking of getting those Jedi Pouches from www.costumebay.com or Pan-In-The-Box aka Costume Bay Singapore to complete your Jedi Garb. According to Lai Foong and Ong, it's probably some kind of Styrofoam hence being very light.
I have bought the jedi food capsule at ebay auction below selling price from Pan-in-the-box which looks great, but I didn't buy their jedi pouches, it doesn't look too good. If you got it at a lower price its OK lah. Otherwise not advisable. As for your Robe, if got patterns and cloths at hand, can finish it in a few days ( think I did one of my HP Robe in about 1 plus day straight; only delayed by me having to go to the shop to get the raw edges finished off and me sewing almost all sides after finish assembling the robe). You sew the costume yourself, hand sewn or machined? I think if I had hand sewn it would have been a lot faster, but I 'll need to seal the edge also, got to check whether my tailor has done this. Meanwhile I have tried to hand sew a pair of Lekku, it took me only about 3-4hours a day to finish 1. Now I am only hoping to see the jedi shirt complete first then only I'll proceed with the hood.

Hey guys, My Jedi outer shirt is finally completed. ;D ;D ;D I am satisfied with the outcome so far, looks great. I've added some small push button on the tabard so that it'll stick to the shirt. Most likely I can go for the Nov 4 event, but I may have to go back early. I will post some pic in the costume column soon. Now it seems like a good idea to get a digital camera.
